
Dr. Andres Pelaez is a board-certified pulmonary, critical care and internal medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from Centro de Estudios de la Salud in Medellín, Colombia, and completed his residency at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Pelaez completed a fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine, as well as advanced fellowship training in interventional bronchoscopy and lung transplantation at UT Health San Antonio. He brings deep experience in lung transplantation, ECMO and transplant critical care, helping guide patients with advanced lung disease through evaluation, treatment and long-term follow-up.
